Thompson Hotels: Numerous Hotels In The Pipeline

Thompson is one of our favorite hotel brands. So we were quite excited when Hyatt acquired Two Roads Hospitality, which of course included the Thompson Portfolio.

We’ve stayed at the Thompson Seattle, Thompson Nashville and The Cape, a Thompson Hotel with upcoming reservations at Thompson Zihuatanejo, Thompson Washington DC and Thompson Chicago.

Hyatt currently has nine hotels and resort open under the Thompson brand in the United States and in Mexico. But what’s exciting, is that there are at least that many hotels in the Thompson pipeline!

Hyatt is opening the Thompson San Antonio and Thompson Dallas later this year. The Thompson Austin, Thompson Savannah, Thompson Hollywood, Thompson Denver and Thompson Atlanta Buckhead will open in 2021. The Thompson South Beach Miami is expected to open in 2022. And Thompson San Antonio will open in 2023.

Other Thompson properties currently under construction or in development include the Thompson Charleston and Thompson New York – Central Park, which is rebrand/conversion from the Parker New York.

During a recent interview, Hyatt also recently announced their intent to take the Thompson Brand global with an upcoming announcement of a Thompson Hotel under development in China.

Needless to say, I think we’ll see great things from the Thompson brand in the upcoming years. And we for one are quite excited about all of the upcoming Thompson Hotels.
