A Brief History

So just how did all of this come to be? We (Nick & Brandon) were Hilton Diamond members for several years during our personal travels. We loved the benefits of the program, but realized the lack of luxury properties in the portfolio. So upon shifting our business from Hilton to Hyatt, we became Hyatt Globalists. Fast-forward a couple of years to when we started our travel agency, Virtual Travel Gurus, while we were in Costa Rica at the Andaz Peninsula Papagayo.

We started our luxury travel agency in order to travel more personally and help our clients get more value when staying at luxury hotels and resorts around the globe. During the first few years of our personal travel, we were booking through a travel agent who got us extra included benefits for our hotel stays at no extra cost.

So why start this blog? We both are very passionate about the Hyatt brand and love traveling the globe exploring all of the properties their portfolio has to offer. With Hyatt’s recent acquisition of Two Road Hospitality, the portfolio got even better.

As we continue to travel the globe, we will share with you reviews from our hotel stays, hotel news such as upcoming properties, renovations, etc., as well as current promotions and updates to the World of Hyatt loyalty program.
