Upcoming Property: Hyatt Regency Cairo West

Nearly a decade ago, Hyatt had a Grand Hyatt hotel in Cairo. But due to a management and franchise dispute, the hotel left the Hyatt and is now the Grand Nile Tower Hotel Cairo in 2011. Since then, Hyatt has had no presence in Cairo. And other than the Hyatt Regency Sharm El Sheikh, Hyatt has had a very limited footprint in Egypt.

But that is changing with the announcement of the Hyatt Regency Cairo West. The hotel is set to open in the last quarter of 2020.

The hotel is situated within the well-established Pyramids Heights Business Park. That being said, this property will likely be more convenient for business travelers as it is located within an area that is home to numerous corporations. The good news for leisure travelers, is the property is located close to the Pyramids of Giza, and soon, the Grand Egyptian Museum. But otherwise, it is a bit displaced from most of the main attractions in Cairo.

The Hyatt Regency Cairo West will feature 242 guestrooms and suites, all of which are inspired by Egyptian Culture with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Pyramids of Giza or the hotel’s pool and lush gardens.

The hotel will have additional features including five distinct restaurants, bar and lounges, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor heated swimming pool and casino adjacent to the building.
